I come from a background in law and residential leasing, having spent many years practising commercial law before moving into business ownership. I now run both a residential lettings company and a solicitor/estate agency business, which gives me a practical understanding of the challenges businesses face in delivering high-quality service while maintaining financial sustainability.
I joined the Board because I saw an opportunity to giveback in an area where I have relevant expertise. I actually went back to university in my early 50s to earn an MSc in Real Estate Investment and Finance from Henley Business School, graduating with Merit, so I’m always learning.
I bring a sharp eye to the Board for identifying issues and, just as importantly, a drive to find workable solutions. I’ve aimed to offer constructive challenges to the executive team, always with a focus on collaboration and shared goals.
Looking ahead, I hope to help Kingdom develop a clear direction and sense of purpose over the next few years. It’s a privilege to be part of an organisation working to make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
I believe that decent accommodation should be a right, not a privilege, and I’m passionate about contributing to that vision.
