Kingdom’s Chosen Charity for 2021/2023 is Andy’s Man Club.

Every two years, staff from Kingdom Housing Association produce a shortlist of potential charities to support. All staff are given the chance to vote on their favourite charity with the winner being named Kingdom’s chosen charity.

Previous charities have included Alzheimer’s Scotland and Samaritans.

The charity being supported by Kingdom for 2021/2023 is Andy’s Man Club, a suicide prevention charity for men, offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the United Kingdom and online. Andy’s Man Club wants to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help men through the power of conversation.

Andy’s Man Club in-person meetings take place on Monday evening at 7pm and there are clubs across all of Kingdom’s areas of operation, benefitting the communities where we operate.

As part of Kingdom’s work with the chosen charity, regular staff awareness sessions take place and the charity is promoted internally on the staff intranet.

A range of fundraising activities have taken place to raise money for Andy’s Man Club with some examples being a bake sale, tombola at Kingdom’s staff conference, and running a marathon!
