Lewis McKenzie

My background is in business development and consultancy, with a particular focus on energy efficiency, energy advice and void property energy management. I’ve always been drawn to work that creates real impact which is what motivated me to join the Board and to help make a difference in challenges facing social housing, while also continuing to grow and develop my own skills.

I bring a mix of practical and strategic experience to the table, especially in areas like energy consultancy and business development. I’m passionate about finding ways to get the best value for social housing and using the organisation’s strengths to attract investment and drive new housing initiatives.

Looking ahead, I hope to support the organisation in delivering more value locally and making a real dent in issues like homelessness and the number of empty homes. Energy efficiency is another area I care deeply about, not just for cost savings but for its wider social and environmental impact.
