Guy Thomson

I’m a retired Chartered Accountant and Financial Controller, with a background in financial, commercial and general management. After retiring from full-time work, I was keen to continue using my experience to give something back to the community, especially in Fife, where I’ve lived for over 30 years.

Joining Kingdom gave me that opportunity, I’d had short spells in other voluntary roles and understood the positive impact volunteering can have, both for the community and for those who give their time.

I bring experience in good governance, financial expertise and general business practices gained from working with Scottish and International companies and groups of various sizes. I’m proud to help govern and play a small part in the positive impact the Group has on the lives of others.

Looking ahead, I hope to support the organisation as it continues to innovate and find new ways to meet the housing and social needs of both existing and future customers. I care deeply about supporting family needs and helping the local environment thrive and grow.

I’m a keen gardener, so you’ll often find me outdoors and enjoying all the benefits that brings.
