When did you join the Board?

I joined the Board in February 2025.

What is your professional experience?

BSc (Hons) MBChB MRCGP

I am a Consultant in General Practice, Artificial Intelligence Innovation Fellow and Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Dundee.

I completed my medical training at the University of St Andrews and the University of Edinburgh. Following this I gained experience working in various Health Boards including North West of England, Fife and Tayside.

I have a track record of leading and delivering innovative health projects with a focus on health inequality. Recently, I lef a successful bid to develop a digital health inequality game in collaboration with Abertay University, and I have experience working with multi-disciplinary teams including third sector organisations and charities. I am also part of a study team testing artificial intelligence for dermatology within an NHS system. I have extensive experience in leading and running audits and data projects, using a range of qualitative, quantitative research methodologies to study health outcomes, cost-effectiveness and decision-making.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading and swimming.

Why did you want to join the Board?

As a doctor working in an inner-city practice, I see the profound impact that living space can have on the health and wellbeing of patients. As a Board member for Kingdom, I hope to share my transferable skills, knowledge and experience in qualitative and quantitative data handling and health inequality to further support Kingdom's aims as a provider of socially aware affordable housing for customers.
