Project Details
This project was located on the Avant Homes site on the outskirts of Larbert. The town is ideally placed for commuting to Edinburgh and Glasgow and is in easy reach of a host of attractions including the Falkirk Wheel, The Kelpies and Stirling Castle. The area is well served by local schools for children of all ages and is located near the Forth Valley Hospital.
The units were part of the Affordable Housing provision for the larger private development site. Phase 1 comprised 11 shared equity properties that were handed over in March 23, while Phase 2 comprised 12 new homes for social rent. A mix of 2 and 3 bedroom general needs houses and a 2 bed amenity bungalow has been provided.
The new homes provide residents with energy efficient homes which have achieved Building Controls Silver Sustainability Standard Specification.
The project started on site in March 2023 and was completed in November 2023.
The properties are owned and managed by Kingdom Housing Association.
