Kingdom’s Winter Gathering: A Caledonian Celebration

Following the success of our first-ever virtual Gathering in the summer, we’re delighted to bring you our Scottish themed virtual Winter Gathering: A Caledonian Celebration.

On Saturday 28th November join us from the comfort of your own home between 12pm and 2pm to enjoy a packed programme for all the family.

Grab some tartan and log in to find out how our services are continuing to adapt to the current coronavirus situation, discuss the topics that matter most to you and your community, hear about the winners of our first Good Neighbour Awards, and take part in some fun workshops. There’s even a chance to win High Street vouchers!

Workshops are free and are open to all and include:

Community Matters: Staff from Kingdom and Safer Communities Fife will be on hand to talk about issues in your community that you would like to see improved and how they can help to make those changes.

Mindfulness: Join Craig Gilbert from Zen Life Fife to learn how mindfulness could help to keep us calm during difficult times. Participants will be entitled to follow this workshop up with further free mindfulness sessions.

Gardening: Keen gardener Peter Hart will discuss how we can prepare our plants and vegetables for the spring and talk about ways to support local gardening projects.

Drawing: Children taking part in this workshop will help design Kingdom’s very own superhero and could see their artwork used in some of our upcoming campaigns.

Reserve your place at the Winter Gathering and book your workshops now by completing this online form: https://forms.gle/vJWCznnyAQGDVBCs9.

You can also email tp@kha.scot, use Live Chat on our website, message us through your My Kingdom portal or call us on 01592 630922.

Numbers are limited, so book by Monday 16th November to secure your place.

The Gathering will be held over Zoom, a video calling platform that can be accessed through smartphones, tablets and computers. While some workshops will be best enjoyed with a video connection, you can also join in by dialling in from any telephone at the cost of your standard network rate.

If you have never used Zoom before or would like some help to connect before the Gathering then please let us know on the form when you register, email us, or call.

If you’re a registered user of My Kingdom you can also send us a message directly through your online portal.

We will also hold a fun practice session the week before the event and give you all the instructions you need to join us for what promises to be a brilliant, inclusive, fun event.
