The Payroll team at Kingdom is once again celebrating their Gold accreditation in the CIPP Payroll Assurance Scheme at the same time as being shortlisted for the In-House Payroll Team of the Year – Public Sector at the CIPP Annual Excellence Awards 2026.
Their Gold accreditation was achieved following an organisational restructure last year and is testament to the team’s hard work and commitment.
In order to reach the Gold standard, the team demonstrated excellence in business planning, documentation, best practice, and learning. They also made huge progress in embracing innovation, and Kingdom staff now benefit from pay on demand, benefits expansion of buying annual leave and increased paternity, self-service availability including provisional payslips, masterclasses, and employee drop-in sessions.
Pay and Benefits Partner Jacqui Hoskisson said: “At Kingdom, we work hard for our colleagues, and the accreditation is welcome professional acknowledgement of Payroll’s dedication to One Kingdom and the wellbeing of staff across the business.”
Following the news of the accreditation, the team were notified that for the sixth time in seven years they’d made the shortlist for the Team of the Year at the Annual Excellence Awards 2026. They’re hoping for a third celebration after scooping two wins and one Highly Commended result in previous years.
Jacqui added: “This recognition means a great deal to us. It reflects the dedication, precision and pride our team brings to every pay cycle, every challenge and every colleague we support. Being named among the top teams in the UK is an honour, and it highlights the impact of the work we do behind the scenes every day.
“We’re incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful to everyone who has contributed to our success, from our committed team to the wider organisation that supports us.”
The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony in October.
