Kingdom Support & Care staff were recognised for their outstanding achievements at an award ceremony held at Lóuie Brown’s in Dalgety Bay.
The 2024 ‘Wall of Fame’ awards celebrated staff for their dedication and commitment over the past year. Judged by ‘The Voice’, Kingdom Support & Care’s employee forum, the awards highlighted creativity, teamwork, and exceptional support across three categories. The event concluded with the Kingdom Support & Care Chair presenting the award for the overall winner, decided by the KSC Board.
Kingdom Support & Care, part of the Kingdom Group, provides high-quality, personalised support and care to over 300 people across Fife and the Forth Valley, helping them live independent lives in their own homes.
Paul White, Executive Director of Kingdom Support & Care said, “The ‘Wall of Fame’ awards recognise the amazing work done throughout Kingdom Support & Care and it was great to have everyone together in one place to celebrate the genuinely life-changing work that we do. Much of this is on a one-to-one basis or in small teams, so having an opportunity to come together at such an uplifting event to celebrate our successes was brilliant.”
“The work of our Support Workers, business support staff and managers enables the individuals we support to value themselves and others, overcome challenges and realise dreams. I’m proud to work with our ‘Wall of Fame’ winners and a great staff team which strives to improve lives 24/7, 365 days of the year.”
Stephanie Whitelaw, Support Worker from Slamannan said, “I was pleasantly surprised to even be nominated let alone be a winner! I felt honoured to be invited and come along to the ‘Wall of Fame’ event. It’s great to meet different people from our services and have a chat over a nice meal and to hear about all the amazing work everyone does.”
Lee Herd, Recruitment & Development Coordinator said, “I’ve been the chair of The Voice for just over two years and I have to say the ‘Wall of Fame’ awards are always a joy to be part of. The work that goes on in our services each day is life-changing for so many people but those that are nominated for a ‘Wall of Fame’ award are extra special. The winners should all be proud of the difference they’ve made both to their peers and the individuals they support.”
