The Kingdom group has thanked long-serving staff in its Support and Care subsidiary with a celebratory lunch and the presentation of long service certificates at the Glenrothes headquarters of Kingdom Housing Association.
Employees at the event chalked up 110 years of service between them and were presented with certificates and commemorative gifts by Bill Banks, Kingdom Group Chief Executive.
Bill spoke about the milestones achieved by Kingdom Support and Care over the years, and the group reminisced about their personal memories of their time working within KSC whilst enjoying lunch.
Congratulating the staff, who were able to attend, on their long service with Kingdom Bill said, “Every organisation welcomes new staff and the fresh ideas that they bring to the development of our strategies and practices, however we should also recognise the ongoing work and contribution that long serving members of staff continue to contribute which helps us achieve our objectives.”
Norah Smith, Kingdom Support and Care Director and Shona Laird Support and Care Manager were also in attendance to celebrate the occasion.
Norah said, “We are very pleased that staff have chosen to stay with the organisation for between 10 and 20 years and I’d like to thank them for their on-going commitment to KSC and the people we support.”
Other staff who celebrated long service but were unable to attend the lunch were –
Elaine Shields and Jim Gallacher – celebrating 10 years.
Julie Ayling, Davie Duncan, Jim Brown, Mary Chan and Pam Moller – celebrating 15 years.
Irene Goulbourn and Pete McQuade – celebrating 20 years.
