Kingdom Housing Association has achieved the prestigious Gold accreditation from Investors In People, making it one of the best employers to work for in the UK.
Reflecting its strategic objective of being an employer of choice, Gold accreditation demonstrates Kingdom’s commitment to supporting and developing its people, to creating sustainable success and to continuous improvement.
Only 17% of accredited organisations achieve Gold.
Bill Banks, Kingdom Group Chief Executive said “This award is recognition of all of the hard work everyone at Kingdom has been doing as part of our Culture Change Programme. Gold accreditation is achieved by only a small percentage of IiP-recognised organisations in the UK, so to receive this award is an outstanding achievement.”
“I’m extremely pleased that the Investors in People report highlights Kingdom has excelled with the various supports it has put in place for staff during the covid-19 pandemic. This is something I recognise from our most recent staff survey where 91.4% of our people said they were satisfied with Kingdom as an employer”.
Andrew Latto, Interim Director of HR at Kingdom said “I am delighted we have achieved the IiP Gold award. Making Kingdom an even better place to work has been a real focus for us over the past few years. IiP focusses a lot on how an organisation’s people feel so, achieving Gold tells us that our people feel valued, cared about and believe in our aims and values. That’s what really matters.”
Bonnie Clarke, CEO of Remarkable said “We Invest in People is a framework for excellence which, when successfully embedded, promotes all aspects of best practice, leadership and people development. Obtaining a Gold Accreditation proves that Kingdom Housing Association is an organisation that fully understands the importance of having engaged, fulfilled and happy staff. I hope that the whole team at Kingdom recognize their collective achievement, as this level of award is without doubt worth celebrating.”
The Investors in People Gold accreditation places Kingdom Housing Association in the top quartile for the sector (7th / 59) and 3rd overall in Scotland for Housing Associations with between 49-249 employees.
