When did you join the Board?
I joined the Board in February 2025.
What is your professional experience?
I enjoyed a 25 year career in the Fire Service, working with many great people at various stations and departments across Fife, Edinburgh and Scotland as a whole. I retired in 2023 as Station Commander for Prevention and Protection within the City of Edinburgh. My duties among many other things was to lead the Community Safety team and the Fire Safety Enforcement team. My background is very much Fire Safety and Regulatory compliance, and I hope to bring my knowledge and experience to Kingdom Initiatives. I now work as a Senior Fire Safety Assurance Manager for a large Facilities Management company, looking after various contacts across Scotland and ensuring the operational teams out there delivering services are supported in all things fire related.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I don't have any spare time :-)
Why did you want to join the Board?
I wanted to let others benefit from my subject matter knowledge, but also to learn from other knowledgeable and experienced board members working in different areas of expertise.
