Tenants’ Choice – Fixtures and Fittings

Tenants moving into the first phase of the new housing at Fraser Avenue are being given the opportunity to choose some of the fixtures and fittings for their new homes.

Letters and tenant choice brochures are being issued to tenants and a drop in session is being held at Ballast Bank on Monday 26 June 2017 between 5-7pm.  Kingdom staff will be in attendance to discuss options and help tenants complete their choice forms if required.  Kitchen and colour samples will be available for tenants to see.

Frequently Asked Questions

We have produced a Frequently Asked Questions document which should hopefully answer any queries you may have about the allocation process, your new home and the programme of work.  The FAQ also tells points you to where you can get more help if your query isn’t listed here.

House Type Options

Kingdom Housing offered all returning tenants to the first phase of the redevelopment of Fraser Avenue, the opportunity to choose the ground floor layout of their new home. Letters and Layout Plans were issued to all returning tenants in August 2016 and drop in sessions were held at Ballast Bank and Inverkeithing Civic Centre. The chosen layouts have now been passed onto the Architect to incorporate into the final drawings.

Fife Council is responsible for the demolition process.  This includes tenant decanting, securing blocks once empty and carrying out the demolition.  We have published a Demolition Phasing Plan and Demolition by Postal Address table for you to view to find out which demolition phase your current home is in.  If you would like more information on the demolition process, please contact Fife Council.

To help answer any queries you may have about your own, and Fife Councils responsibilities during the decanting process, they have produced a Decanting Procedures-Moving Home Checklist.  If you have any further queries you can contact Deborah Stevens, Local Development Officer (Housing) on 03451 55 55 55 Ext 493946 or pop into Inverkeithing Civic Centre.

Estimated Rents and Council Tax

We have produced a Estimated Rents and Council Tax table which shows the estimated rents and council tax that you could expect to pay for your new Kingdom home. Please note that the figures provided are for guidance only and may not reflect the actual amounts to be paid.
