This development was located in town centre Alloa and commenced on site early July 2020.

The site was previously the location of the local Co-Op store and part of the site was used as a car park with the remainder being waste ground.

As part of town centre regeneration plans this development has had positive impact on the surrounding area and was committed to providing a housing solution to maximise the time the local ageing community can remain within their own homes along with Clackmannanshire Council committing to further improvements around the town centre.

Advice from Architect Design Scotland and care and dementia experts has been considered in the design with Kingdom Housing and Clackmannanshire Council working collaboratively to incorporate future proof elements such as dementia friendly elements and mobility scooter charging points.

The new homes provide residents with energy efficient homes which meet Housing for Varying Needs, Secured by Design Gold and the Association’s design standards.
