We have 6 opportunities for enthusiastic, hard-working committed people to train with us for 3 years in each of those areas.
You’ll train through a mixture of work-based and college-based learning, gaining formal qualifications and valuable work experience in your chosen field. You will work alongside experienced members of our teams who will support and guide you through your traineeship. Whilst there is no guarantee of a permanent job with us at the end of the traineeship, we think you’ll be in a great position to take the next step in your career.
HR & Payroll
Duration – 3 years
Salary – £17,932 – £20,664 (spinal points 9 – 14) per annum
Entry Requirements – 16 – 24 years old (your 24th birthday must be before 30 September 2021) – National 5 Maths and English at Grade C or above.
As a member of the HR/Payroll Team, you will provide a client centred HR service giving advice and support to staff and management in accordance with current employment legislation and best practice. The Payroll team ensures the relevant information is input to the payroll system to allow Kingdom Group staff to be paid accurately and on time and ensuring all legal processes are adhered to.
Finance
Duration – 3 years
Salary – £17,932 – £20,664 (spinal points 9 – 14) per annum
Entry Requirements – 16 – 24 years old (your 24th birthday must be before 30 September 2021) – Higher Maths and English.
As a member of the Finance Team, you will work alongside the existing Finance Team and other colleagues in the Kingdom Group to gain experience of all aspects of the Finance department. You will provide a quality finance service to staff and management. You will also be expected to undertake a continual work assessment whilst attending further education to gain your AAT Qualifications.
Construction Inspector
Duration – 3 years
Salary – £21,146 – £23,301 (spinal points 15-19) per annum
Entry Requirements – You should have a minimum of one Higher (or equivalent) at Grade C or above in a relevant subject plus three National 5s (or equivalent) at Grade C or above which must include Maths.
As part of the Capital Investment Team, you will work alongside the Senior Construction Inspector, Construction Inspectors and the wider Capital Investment team, and at times other colleagues in Kingdom to learn about and gain experience of all aspects of the profession. As you progress through your traineeship, you will take on more responsibilities of the role ensuring that a property developed for Kingdom and our partners is built to the required standards in specification and methods of construction.
Customer Accounts Trainee
Duration – 3 years
Salary – £17,932 – £20,664 (spinal points 9 – 14) per annum
Entry Requirements – Restricted to people currently living in a Kingdom Housing Association or Kingdom Initiatives property and are between 16 to 24 years old, your 24th birthday must be before 30 September 2021. National 5 Maths and English
In a first of its kind, we are offering a brand new opportunity for one of our customers to gain a qualification and start a career working in Housing. The Customer Accounts Trainee will work alongside the existing Customer Accounts Team and other colleagues in the Kingdom Group to gain experience of all aspects of the role and department. As a member of the team, you will provide quality customer service to our tenants. You will also be expected to undertake a continual work assessment whilst attending further education to gain an appropriate Housing Qualification.
Career Pathfinder Trainee x2
Duration – 3 years
Salary – £21,146 – £23,301 (spinal points 15-19) per annum
Entry Requirements – ONLY AVAILABLE TO APPLICANTS WHO ARE REGISTERED HOMELESS
This role is part of the Naumann Initiative. It is only open to individuals who are currently registered homeless. The successful applicant will also be given a tenancy with Kingdom, full training to carry out the role and support to make the transition from being homeless to having their own home with us.
The Career Pathfinder Trainee will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the business by rotating throughout key departments within Kingdom. This unique opportunity will allow you to gain experience in each area before spending more time in your preferred business area. You will also be expected to undertake a continual work assessment whilst attending further education to gain an appropriate qualification.
