Kingdom Housing Association is holding an Open Day aimed at recruiting youngsters to become trainees at Fife’s largest housing association.
Young people under 24 years can learn about opportunities to start a career in Human Resources, Finance, Development or Plumbing by learning through a mixture of workplace and college-based learning.
Anyone interested in learning more can drop in and talk about the traineeships this Friday, 29 April, from 10am to 3pm at the Rothes Halls in Glenrothes.
Bill Banks, chief executive at Kingdom, said: “We’re really excited about this. Our mission is to provide More Than A Home and, as part of that, we want to contribute to the communities we operate in. One way of doing that is by providing a first career step for young people. We think these traineeships are great opportunities. They’ll give young people the skills, qualifications and experience to start a successful career whilst earning what we think is a very competitive wage.”
Andrew Latto, HR manager at Kingdom, said: “If you are a young person who might be suited to a career in Human Resources, Finance, Development or Plumbing, or of you know someone who might be interested, please come along to our open day on 29 April. Don’t worry if you can’t make it though. We’re putting a lot of information on our website so have a look at that and, if you think one of the traineeships would be for you, put an application in.”
