We’re pleased to announce that we have secured funding from the Scottish Government through the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) and the Housing Associations Charitable Trust (HACT) to help support our tenants with fuel debts.
The average gap in income between everyday households and those experiencing fuel poverty is around £330 and this new fund goes some way to help bridge that gap.
This scheme is in addition to the Fuel Bank Fund and the key difference is that this scheme allows us to support you even if you pay for your fuel via Direct Debit, a standing order or periodic bills. You DO NOT need to have pre-payment meters to be eligible for this funding support.
This fund only runs until 14th May 2021 so please do get in touch if you are experiencing debts or higher than usual costs for your electricity and/or gas supply.
Contact our Energy Adviser Derek Smith for more information. Email tssteam@kha.scot or call 01592 630922 (Option 5), to leave a call back request.
All of our advice and support to tenants is free and confidential.
