Happy Retirement

After more than 28 years, Eleanor Fotheringham, our Director of Resources is retiring (early!). Eleanor started with Kingdom, in our Cowdenbeath Office in 1988 as an Office Administrator and, amongst other things, has been instrumental in developing our employee policies and procedures over the years and helping to shape Kingdom into the organisation it is today.

When asked what words she would use to describe her time at Kingdom Eleanor said it had been ‘wonderful. stressful, brilliant, emotional but very rewarding’. Eleanor also said ‘I feel very proud to have been part of Kingdom Housing over the last 28 years and to have seen the difference that Kingdom can make to people’s lives, with the provision of quality housing and care services. Kingdom would not be as successful as it is today without the dedication and contribution from the Board members and staff who I have had the privilege to work with.

Bill Banks Chief Executive, said ‘I have worked with Eleanor for many years and on behalf of all the Board members and staff at Kingdom I’d like to take the opportunity to wish Eleanor all the best for the future and thank for her all the excellent work and support she has provided to colleagues’

Enjoy your retirement; it’s well deserved.
