Do You Want To Join Our Board?

The mission of The Kingdom Group is to provide ‘More Than A Home’. Kingdom Housing Association, provides affordable housing for social rent to meet a wide range of needs; Kingdom Support and Care provides a full range of care and support services to help people to live independently in the community and Kingdom Initiatives is our non-charitable subsidiary delivering affordable property for mid market rent and developing commercial projects.
We’re recruiting now to two of our Boards: Kingdom Housing Association and Kingdom Support and Care.
The Kingdom Housing Association Board currently has 10 members and we are looking to complement our existing skills set to ensure well-rounded Board oversight.
We are particularly interested in applicants with;
Development (new build) experience
Human Resources
Health and Safety
Repairs and maintenance (planned and reactive)
Sustainability and net zero
We would also be keen to speak to any of our Customers who may be considering a position on the Board. Candidates will be able to commit to 6 meetings per year, normally held on a Monday between 5.30pm and 8pm. Other participation and training opportunities will also be available throughout the year.
The Kingdom Support & Care Board currently has 6 Directors and are particularly interested in applicants with;
Care sector experience
Digital
We would also be keen to hear from you if you are a family member of an individual who receives support from us. Candidates will be able to commit to quarterly Board meetings (4 per year) which are normally held on a Thursday between 3pm-5pm. Other participation and training opportunities will also be available throughout the year.
Positions on our Board are voluntary, but travel and other reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. By joining one of our Boards, you’ll play a key role in helping Kingdom to shape its goals. You’ll also have the opportunity to build on your existing professional experience, develop new skills, expand your knowledge and grow your network.
