Consultation Event – Saline
Kingdom Housing Association is undertaking a public consultation exercise next week in Saline.
In February of this year, the Association secured planning approval in principle to build up to 55 affordable houses at its site in Oakley Road, Saline. We agreed at that time with the local community that we would consult further on the details of the development, and will now undertake that at an event to be held in Saline Community Centre on Friday 26 September, from 3.30 to 7.30 pm.
This gives an opportunity to discuss how the project has developed, and for Kingdom staff to consider the views expressed – before the plans are finalised and submitted for approval to Fife Council. The Association then hopes to begin construction of these much-needed homes in 2015.
The event will begin with an informal drop-in session, followed by a round-table discussion at 6.30pm, chaired by David Chisholm of Saline & Steelend Community Council.
