An Open Letter to Tenants from Kevin Stewart, Minister for local Government, Housing and Planning

Bill Banks Kingdom Group Chief Executive

Message from Bill Banks, Kingdom Group Chief Executive

Kevin Stewart, the Scottish Housing Minister, has issued an open letter to tenants to provide information and advice on the steps being taken as part of Scotland’s Route Map out of the coronavirus crisis.

The letter also reassures tenants of the safety measures in place as landlords, including Kingdom, resume their repairs, maintenance and planned improvements programmes and I’d like to take this opportunity to reassure you that your safety and wellbeing throughout this pandemic is always our number one priority.

You can read the letter here.

Mr Stewart’s letter includes lots of information on national services offering support and advice which you may find useful.

At Kingdom, we are also able to provide you with local help, support and advice. The Kingdom Group has a Tenancy Sustainment Service, with a dedicated team who can support you by:

  • providing advice and assistance with benefits
  • assisting you to settle into your new home
  • helping you with budgeting
  • advocating on your behalf regarding issues that impact you or your home
  • advising you on utilities issues or home energy efficiency
